The Weekly Update 6/27/2025™

Focus!

As we all enjoy a few summer sunsets let’s not lose our focus on what is happening under all those scary headlines.

Despite all the negative business news, and media in general, Corporate America is absolutely crushing revenue and earnings estimates!

Here is a chart where you can observe where the revenue and earnings have been and where they are estimated to be going forward.

Notice in 4Q24 and 1Q25 earnings were up +14% and +12.1% respectively.  You may recall the big brain analysts on Wall Street had estimated these to be +7% and +5.89% at the start of each, 4Q24 and 1Q25.  Again, just “off” by a cool 100+% too low!

My guess is they will be off on that +5%, forecasted in the 2Q25 box by - oh, I don’t know, let’s go with…by 100+%!

Perhaps that is why 67.8% of investors surveyed are not positive on the future outlook for market valuations over the next six months.

Check it out.

Perhaps they have a negative outlook because of headlines they read like those we have witnessed over the past six months, i.e. just in 2025!

•    Tariff Tantrum Part – 2
•    Middle East unrest (really! the Middle East has been in unrest for a few thousand years!)
•    Inflation fears over tariffs
•    U.S. Debt that could blow up the bond market
•    Political unrest in the U.S. (since, well, a few hundred years)
•    Riots in many major cities
•    The U.S. second largest traveled bombing mission of Iran’s nuclear facilities

On that last bullet point, let’s assume all the fear-based headlines are what they are, bologna, to scare you enough that they can hold your eyeballs long enough to sell you whatever they are selling.

Instead, what if the biggest, meanest, bad apple bully in the Middle East is done, gone, kaput!  All of a sudden with that very expensive and disruptive risk gone, incredible opportunity is set to begin across the entire region.

As always, no one knows the future, not even me.  Yet, my gut instinct has been correct much more that not over the last 44 years at this desk.  I think it is right again this time, yet we will continue to implement our comprehensive process, “The Wealth Planning Strategy™”, which incorporates the tools, structure and strategies that create direction, capability and confidence for every member of our client family as well as in each person in their families.
