As you observe the five green circles around 1987, 1990, 1994-1995, 2008-2009 and 2016 it becomes obvious these were times of emotional stress, cloudy outlook, and emotional selling.

In the purple circle representing “now”, it would be safe to say the same three elements are present.

Right now is only the sixth time in the last 35 years that we as investors have collectively had a more negative outlook.

In retrospect, and for now, would you say those were a good time to sell your investments in Corporate America, or to be a buyer?
