The Weekly Update 09/04/2026™

The Next Monster Approaches!
Most investors believe October is the worst performing month of the twelve, but it is September! October is the second worst performing of the twelve. So, yes, back-to-back poor performing months are on deck. (Source: Yardeni Research)
And…. they are the months that lead us into the full force of the political hatred-seething-sadly- throughout our country. Like it or not, the process is likely to be pretty ugly.
As you see, read and hear the negative news ahead, it may make sense to re-read what you are about to read below. Brace yourself, it is very positive!
The “on shoring” of manufacturing back to the USA is only starting to gain momentum. The growth is so unbelievable that few of us are not connecting with just how significant this is for our economy and our citizens. The following three charts from Yardeni Research frame what is happening very concisely. As you observe each one it is OK to smile. Not as in funny, but as in confident of the future that comes with this detail.
Chart #1 is for orders of machinery needed to construct and operate data centers

If you think this is a “bubble”, you should know bubbles happen when there is supply and little to no demand. In chart #2 notice the trend of “unfilled orders”, i.e. demand is off the charts as there is not enough product to supply. The exact opposite of a “bubble”.

This last chart you could copy and put in your purse or wallet to use as a negative news, “bubble” bologna antidote. This chart alone tells us very clearly that all of the major components of durable goods orders (Sign #5 of the Seven Signs of a Changing Economy™ that I have updated and written for 20 years) (Read it Here), are at record highs, across the board and going vertical.

You have a choice to have “Faith In” or “Fear Of” ... The Unknown. You know my choice!
As always, your WSG team remains focused, thoughtful, and on purpose as we continue the ongoing process of allocating The WSG client family assets entrusted to our oversight.
I did not say market valuations go straight up, and I did not say without volatility, yet the data flow suggests the good old USA has a very bright outlook.
P.S. I write and post The Weekly Update every Friday versus emailing so I don't fill-up the client family's email inboxes. If you'd like to read them each Friday, just go to TWSG website at https://www.wealthstratgroup.com. Once there, click on my photo and it takes you to my investment philosophy and methodology page. In that verbiage are green hot links to The Weekly Update library as well as the library for the monthly piece I write and e-blast each month, The Seven Signs of a Changing Economy.™
Thank you for your trust and confidence. As always, I am interested in your thoughts, comments, and observations. Feel welcome to call, email or stop by the office and say Hi.

Respectfully,
